The Toxic Tory Waste Dump Surrounding Toxic Fallen ‘King’ Boris Johnson

As a child Boris Johnson yearned to be King of the World but he’s never been more than a shallow and narcissistic Lord of the Flies thug ruling over a pile of toxic rot. I don’t mean the UK — but the Conservative Party.

I, like many, have always said that Johnson is a deeply unpleasant man, with a very thin veneer of superficial charm that the sort of people who fall for religious cults sadly fall for. He’s completely egocentric, he’s exploitative and manipulative, he has treated partners atrociously, he is driven by a craving for power, status and personal gain — at the detriment of society — and he lacks a conscience.

One doesn’t have to be a psychiatrist or criminologist to notice and be troubled by this particular cluster of ‘qualities’ — or symptoms. This profile, coupled with the power he has been afforded since a young age, is of great concern and I will be extremely relieved to watch him leave Downing Street and slither back to right-wing journalism. But an even greater concern for me than Johnson’s atrocious personality is the party that eagerly made him king of their toxic dump. Not to mention those who happily voted Tory under his rule.
