The Ignorance of Reform UK Voters is a Godsend
There are many ways we could describe the inevitable devastation of the Tory Party in the forthcoming general election. I’ll suggest a handful:
Conservative carnage, delusion-driven destruction, annihilation of arseholes, deeply deserved disintegration, being flushed down the toilet by an angry god or goddess, karmic retribution, being stamped into the earth — or going over a cliff and being shattered on the jagged rocks of reality.
For the many millions of us who can see the damage the Tories have done to society, it will be a rare treat to watch vast numbers of Tory seats be lost — followed by a bloody tug of war of the shredded, diseased ‘heart’ of the party by right-wing zealots and any ‘moderate’ ‘one-nation Tories’ left.
That will be hilarious — and even more so because the devastation is being compounded by another right-wing party, Reform UK. Their efforts to push the UK further right could help destroy the only right-wing party with a shred of credibility — giving Labour multiple terms in power.
