Ending Covid Restrictions to Save His Arse was Typical Boris Johnson — and Could Well Be Homicidal

NOTE: Since this article was published, my Twitter account was hacked — seemingly by the same group that hacked a number of liberal and left leaning voices recently, including Oxford MP Layla Moran. The hackers deleted all my tweets, which meant the video I had posted at the bottom of this article of Boris Johnson saying reprehensible things was also deleted. I thank my friend Jon Atkinson for hosting it below.

Since the article was published, Boris Johnson HAS ended mild Covid restrictions in an attempt to save his arse, amid a wave of mass infection and the highest death rate in almost a year. We need to ensure this act of homicidal selfishness does not go unpunished.

Before Christmas, when leading scientific experts were cautioning about Omicron surging out of control and causing NHS services to be forced into meltdown and have to declare critical incidents, Boris Johnson chose instead to listen to the hard-right. To rabid backbenchers who pushed the country into a deranged extreme Brexit, to sinister owners and editors of toxic and tawdry racist newspapers and grubby ‘classical liberal’ (cruel, antiquated hard-right) magazines. To the money-obsessed shadowy figures who fund the Tory Party and drive policy from their stately homes and sunny tax havens.

Having previously let the virus tear through our island countries (see video below of him smirking as he told other rich men that he would put their wealth above human life), resulting in more than 150,000 deaths and untold cases of long Covid, Johnson once again chose to obey the braying money-hoarders rather than listen to credible experts in medicine and other scientific disciplines.

It is important to state that I don’t think Johnson’s reason for obeying the hard-right was merely due to an ideology that always puts the wealth of the greedy and entitled above the lives of the masses. Johnson’s own vision is as wobbly as his parenting skills, his faithfulness in relationships and his integrity. It is more likely that the threat of rebellion by hard-right Tories and annoyance of callous donors who would rather people keep dying in droves than their portfolios of office complexes, bars and coffee chains lack coughing commuters…
